About Pin Valley & Mud Village
Pin valley national park is a colourful cold-desert valley ending at Mud village — the end point of the Pin Parvati and Bhaba pass treks, and home to the ibex and snow leopard.
The Pin river valley has striking red, purple and green mountains. Mud is the last village in the valley, with homestays and walks along the river.
The Kungri monastery on the way is the second oldest in Spiti and the main seat of the Nyingma sect.
