About Roghi Village & Suicide Point
The narrow road from Kalpa to Roghi is cut into a vertical cliff above the Sutlej — Suicide Point is its most dramatic bend, and Roghi village rewards you with orchards and a wooden Narayan temple.
Suicide Point is a sharp bend on the Kalpa–Roghi road where the cliff drops hundreds of metres straight down to the Sutlej valley. The views of Kinnaur Kailash from here are among the best in the district.
A few kilometres on, Roghi is a quiet traditional village with apple and apricot orchards, wooden houses and a beautiful temple. Few tourists continue this far, so it is peaceful even in peak season.
